Joined the Board of Directors of HEWFCU in 1991; Chairman, Long Range Planning Committee. Is a social marketing and media relations consultant serving diverse health and public utility clients including the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Administration, Johns Hopkins School of Nursing, and the D.C. Water and Sewer Authority. He is retired from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services where he held senior-level positions including Director, Communications Services Division, Office of the Secretary and later Associate Administrator for Communications and External Affairs, at ADAMHA and its successor, SAMHSA. He received a number of awards and commendations including the Secretary’s Award for Exceptional Achievement. Holds a B.B.A. from Pace University, M.A., Economics, Seton Hall University, and M.L.A., Honors, Johns Hopkins University. Member of the HEWFCU since 1973.
