As part of a federally chartered credit union the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA) insures your accounts up to a minimum of $100,000. NCUA is the federal regulatory agency responsible for overseeing the operations of all federal credit unions. The NCUA logo assures you that the U.S. Government backs your deposits.



Additionally, HEWFCU provides its members with $250,000 account insurance through Excess Share Insurance (ESI). ESI is a licensed property and casualty insurer and the nation's largest private deposit insurer.
