Your Wings?
Spread Your Wings is an account with HEW Federal
Credit Union that will introduce you to the tools of
good money management. To begin using the Spread
Your Wings account you must be between the ages of
18 to 24, and have a basic savings account with the
Credit Union. This account entitles you to full
membership privileges and offers every financial
service you need to set out on your own. Read on to
discover the opportunities awaiting you as a Spread

Which do you
prefer in your wallet? ATM or VISA Check card?
A "Spread Your Wings' account at HEW Federal
Credit Union offers either an ATM car or a VISA
Check card. The ATM card is FREE and allows you to
get cash from either your checking or savings
accounts from our ATMs or ATM within our network at
no charge. A VISA Check card allows Spread Your
Wings members to make purchases wherever VISA is
accepted and it's deducted directly from your
checking account. Also, you can use your VISA Check
card to get cash from your checking account at our
ATMs or ATMs in our network at no charge. The
decision is your to make, and is the first step in
your flight to financial independence.

We know that you've heard it before, "Come back
when you've established your credit". Well how
do you establish your credit if no one will give you
a chance? Establishing a good credit history is an
important financial tool. Learning how to handle
debt is as important as learning how to save. It
will require self control and responsibility, but
loans are a part of life and learning to repay on
time is another valuable lesson. Someday you will
graduate to other loan and have a mortgage for your
own home. A credit card with HEW Federal Credit

As an SYW member at HEW Federal Credit Union, you
are eligible for special services and loan. SYW
members can apply for our annual scholarship and
Marketing Internship. "The Real World" is
an auto loan offered to SYW members.
