MasterDrive | High Quality Driver Training | Main Menu

MasterDrive ... The Company

Enough is Enough!

Why don't we do a better job of preparing our youth to become more competent, skillful, responsible drivers? Why dont we implement programs to make our overall driving environment more safe and enjoyable? Why dont we define specific expectations for drivers of all ages?

Why? Because we dont acknowledge that the driver is the ultimate management system of a vehicle, and most traffic safety programs are not very effective because they do not focus strategies on developing a more competent driver. They typically focus upon seat belts, air bags, more crashable cars, and law enforcement.

MasterDrive is a totally unique company. What makes MasterDrive programs different? Not one thing ... but Everything!

First and most importantly ... the objective of each program is to enhance the processing, psychomotor skill, and decision making ability of every individual client. Therefore, the implementation of each program is very carefully designed with the flexibility to help each student achieve a much higher level of performance, based upon their individual needs.

Second ... it is based upon very specific learning and teaching strategies, rather than just upon the more typical drivers ed or traffic safety curricula. This requires a very specific instructor certification program, so that each instructor has the ability to work effectively with a student who may have a learning difficulty, high anxiety, head injury, loss of confidence, low self esteem, ADD, visual processing problems, etc. The MasterDrive licensing package is a total system, with training on the implementation of the system, including the instructor certification program. For more information, please click on Franchise Information .

Third ... it is based upon skills training. The foundation of the training is accomplished by putting students through a series of driving exercises which simulate real world conditions, conducted at relatively low speeds, and are taught from a car control and defensive driving perspective and in a non-race environment. The programs are built upon learning car control skills; not how to drive fast.

In addition to the skills learned, we have found that a significant advantage of the experiential learning process is the accompanying changes in attitude and perspective toward driving. Clients gain an understanding and respect for the limitations of driving conditions, vehicular dynamics, and, most importantly, the limitations of the driver. There is also an extension of personal confidence and comfortability based upon an appropriate and most effective process.

To view the rest of the Master Drive Web Site you must have a frames capable web browser.
