Most residents and workers in the DC Metro area are eligible to join Democracy FCU.

If you live, work, worship, attend school, or regularly conduct business in the areas below, you are most likely eligible to join Democracy FCU:

VIRGINIA - Most areas of the City of Alexandria, Arlington and Fairfax Counties
MARYLAND - Most areas of Prince George’s and Montgomery Counties
WASHINGTON, D.C. - All areas of the City

Eligibility by Employer

• Department of Education
• Social Security Administration
• Federal Energy Regulatory Commission 
• Food & Drug Administration 
• Gallaudet University - Faculty, employees and registered students enrolled in a program leading to a degree or certificate 
• Select Employee Groups – Democracy FCU serves employees of companies who offer membership as an employee benefit; contact Democracy FCU to determine if your employer is a participant.
