SEG GroupsThe Credit Union has added dozens of groups under the Select Employee Group Program (SEG) expansion in which we were approved for in 1994. Eligibility to join HEW Federal Credit Union (HEWFCU) is based on a "common bond" field of membership. Employees of groups listed here, as well as members of their families, regardless of residence, may join.
If you or your company are interested in offering HEWFCU as a benefit to employees, please send in a SEG Request Letter to HEW Federal Credit Union: at P.O. Box 25516 Alexandria, VA 22313-5516.
Instructions to become a SEG:
- Send in request letter on your company letterhead.� Letter must be signed by CEO, President, or Vice President.
- We will send letter to NCUA for approval.
- Upon NCUA's approval, our Board of Directors must approve.
- Upon HEWFCU's Board of Directors approval, you will be sent SEG Information Package.
