1. What is Internet Home Branch?
Internet Home Branch is HEW Federal Credit Union�s on-line account access tool. This service allows you to
access your account information and funds 24 hours a day from your personal computer.
2. What is Internet Bill Payer?
Internet Bill Payer is HEW Federal Credit Union�s newest electronic service. This service allows you to pay your
bills online.
3. What type of account can I view with Internet Home Branch?
With Internet Home Branch you can view all of your Credit Union accounts including share draft, share savings,
share certificates, credit cards, share IRA�s and loans including lines of credit.
4. What can I do on-line?
Currently you can:
Check current account balances. Transfer funds between accounts. View account history.
View account information including due dates, payoff amounts, YTD interest, and previous YTD interest.
Pay your bills via our Bill Payer feature. Place stop payments Draft inquiries
5. How much does Internet Home Branch and Internet Bill Payer cost?
Internet Home Branch is free of charge to all members. Internet Bill Payer is free during the Trial Offer period*.

6. What do I need in order to use these online services?
To use Internet Home Branch and Internet Bill Payer, you must first have a connection to the Internet.
This requires three components: a modem, an HEWFCU account and an Internet Service Provider (ISP).
A 28.8 kps or higher modem is recommended for the fastest, most efficient home banking session.
7. How do I enroll in Internet Home Branch or Internet Bill Payer?
To enroll in Internet Home Branch you must call our Member Services Department at (800) 742-5582.
YOU MUST BE ENROLLED IN INTERNET HOME BRANCH BEFORE YOU CAN BE ENROLLED IN
INTERNET BILL PAYER. Once you have signed up for Internet Home Branch you can log into your account
with the User Name and ID given to you by a Member Services Representative, and enroll in Internet
Bill Payer online.
8. If I make a transfer, how soon are the transferred funds available?
Internet Home Branch and Internet Bill Payer are real time services, which means that as soon as you make a
transfer, the results can be seen immediately by viewing the Account Balances screen and the funds are
immediately available.
9. How many months of account history does Internet Home Branch provide?
Account history will allow you to view all transactions on a particular account beginning with the date you select.
Histories are available for six months.
10. Can I withdraw funds with Internet Home Branch?
Yes, you can generate a check withdraw payable to yourself through Internet Home Branch.
11. What type of security is used by HEW�s online services?
Internet Home Branch and Internet Bill Payer uses a 128-bit encryption security system to protect your account
data from exposure to unauthorized persons.
12. What do I do if I forget my PIN?
If you forget you PIN, you need to call our Member Services Department at (202) 488-5400 EXT. 5
or (800) 742-5582, and have it reset.
13. Is there a time limit for Internet Home Branch and Internet Bill Payer
transactions?
If you are inactive for five minutes or more, the system will automatically log you out.
14. How do I get to Internet Home Branch?
Internet Home Branch can be reached via the HEW Federal Credit Union website at www.hewfcu.com.
15. Can I make transfers to all of my Credit Union accounts?
A member may transfer from one individual account to another. However, a member may not transfer from a
joint account to a individual account.
