HEWFCU Announces Grand Opening of New Branch in District Heights8/15/2003
HEW Federal Credit Union (HEWFCU), an Alexandria, Virginia based Federal Credit Union, established in 1936, today announced the opening of its first branch in Prince George's County. The new Forestville branch, located in the Penn Station Shopping Center next to Subway, will offer loans, cash transactions, financial counseling, and enrollment for online banking services as well as evening and Saturday hours for the convenience of its members. The Forestville branch, like other HEW Federal Credit Union branches in Washington, D.C., Falls Church, Virginia, and Philadelphia, will offer a full array of financial services to include Savings, Checking, Money Management, IRAs and Share Certificates, investment services, plus new and used Automobile, Mortgage, Vacation, Holiday, Home Equity and Line of Credit loans - all at very competitive rates.
The new HEW Federal Credit Union branch is also an outlet of the Family Service Center shared branch network and will provide services to the members of many local and regional credit unions.
