As a member of HEW Federal Credit Union, your personal security has always been of top priority to us.  On April 25, 2007, we upgraded our online banking with a new security service to further enhance your online banking experience.  This new security service will further protect you and your personal account information from identity theft. 
 
This new security upgrade will protect your account information from unauthorized access.  In today’s world, recognizing your account number and password is not enough.  With this new security upgrade, if we do not recognize your specific computer – we will ask you for additional information that only you will know, as an additional line of defense. 
 
The new upgrade for our Internet Home Bank, is a free and easy way to help protect against fraud and identity theft.  Soon, in order to access your HEWFCU accounts, you will be prompted to take additional steps to identify that you are the rightful owner of your account – thereby making your online transactions more secure.
 
Whether you are at home, at work, or on the go, you will be protected on any computer that you use.  This upgrade will allow you to:
           
·        Add an extra layer of protection from identity thieves and fraud
·        Provide security from any computer
·        Make it easy for you to transact business online at anytime, anywhere
