Important Notice Regarding Payroll Posting Delays and Corrections

As of 6:00 PM on Saturday, December 18^th, HEWFCU restored all payroll credits and ACH debits that were reversed during the day on Friday. These reversals were made necessary due to an erroneous payroll file being sent to our Credit Union, one that contained funds for a majority of our members. The nature of this error forced us to take actions that impacted all members since early afternoon on Friday. The inconveniences caused were not expected and a final solution was not reached until Saturday evening. We have held off posting share drafts and electronic transactions during this time and are working to refund fees caused by these reversals. Due to our actions occurring on a Friday afternoon, communicating this problem to our membership was made difficult. HEWFCU staff has been working this weekend to correct member accounts and ensure that your services are restored to normal levels.
