Philadelphia Branch Notice

Effective December 31, 2007, HEW Federal Credit Union will be closing its branch located at 300 Spring Garden Street in Philadelphia, PA. We wish to assure you that this closure will neither affect the service our members receive, nor our branch operations in the Washington, D.C. area. Members in Philadelphia and surrounding areas have already been notified via mail of the upcoming changes in service.


HEWFCU is affiliated with a network of Credit Union Shared Branch locations throughout the U.S., where our members can make transactions and access ATMs. There are four Shared Branch locations in the Philadelphia area. For more information and locations, please click here.

This decision has not been made in response to events occurring in the financial services industry in recent months. As a matter of business practice, we do not make the types of loans that have appeared in recent news articles, such as sub-prime mortgages. Your Credit Union will never engage in practices that will put its members and their savings at risk. We are financially strong and will continue to grow and to serve you.
